Prior to moving to Colorado and starting Family Mortgage, John enjoyed a successful career in banking for 15 years with his last position as a Regional President with Suntrust Banks in Florida. He enjoys photography, hiking, camping, golfing, cooking, volunteering in the community, and spending time with family and friends. John is a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he has served on many committees including past Chairman of the Finance Council, Chairman of the Annual Golf Benefit and on the annual Church Festival committee. He is a past Director for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, as well as a Chamber Ambassador. His current and past involvement with civic and charitable organizations include Rotary, United Way, Junior Achievement, Tampa Mentor Program, Walk America, Loveland Elks Lodge, the Coalition of Loveland for Education Awareness and Resources, Alternatives to Violence, Loveland's Community Kitchen and many others. "Loveland 365, the People, Places and Things That Make Loveland America's Sweetheart City," was a book published in 2011 which highlighted John's love for his community and the people in it. All proceeds from the sale of the book went back to local charities and non-profits to better the community. John and Family Mortgage's philosophy is simple. Treat others as you would want to be treated, honestly and fairly.
Connie is a native of Florida where she went to school, met John and worked in the banking and sales industry. She has been involved in marketing and sales since she was 16 years old. Her enthusiasm and energy serve her and her community well as she is involved in numerous local organizations volunteering her time and talents. She is passionate about her family and friends and always goes the extra mile to provide legendary customer service and makes her clients feel like family. Dawn Thompson is a native to Colorado, she was born in Denver and moved to Loveland 1988. Dawn and her Husband thought Loveland would be the perfect place to start a family and raise their children. She believes every dream can come true with a little hard work and dedication. Dawn is Family Mortgage's Loan Processor and makes your loan process easy, fun and successful.
Ralph Trenary is Family Mortgage's newest addition to our mortgage family of professionals. A retired Veteran, Ralph brings years of discipline and service to our clients. His wife Holly is a third generation Loveland Native. As a Veteran, Ralph specializes in VA loans and making sure that all of our U.S. Veterans receive all of the benefits they are entitled to. Ralph has served in numerous capacities in the Loveland community including several years on Loveland City Council.
John Joseph Giroux, is John and Connie's son and represents the 2nd generation of Girouxs to serve the mortgage needs of Family Mortgage's clients. He is currently engaged to his Fiancee, Rachael, and owns a home just a few blocks from Family Mortgage. He served Northern Colorado for three years as a Volunteer Firefighter and has his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. He is currently studying to take the national exam for his mortgage license and will be originating loans soon to serve your future needs.
